Human Rights refer to fundamental rights universal to humanity, entitled to each person regardless of caste, creed, color, race, origin, sex, or religion. The principal objective is the protection of human life and liberty, preserving dignity, promoting healthy development, and maintaining equality.
The basic object of the Right to Information is to empower citizens, promote transparency and accountability in government, contain corruption, and make democracy work for people in a real sense. An informed citizen is better equipped to keep vigil and hold governance accountable.
Environmental protection is an integral part of the development process and cannot be considered in isolation. This involves a holistic approach handled with public participation, alongside changing attitudes and lifestyles to minimize and reduce environmental impacts.
Consumer complaints cover issues like bogus sweepstakes, lotteries, work-at-home schemes, grant offers, fake check scams, and imposter frauds, as well as unlicensed medical practitioners, shoddy building works, incomplete housing projects, and faulty auto repairs.
Sexual violence includes a wide range of acts such as rape, assault, harassment, unwanted touching, coercion, trafficking, and forced abuse. Sexual harassment is unlawful when it occurs in specified areas of public life, including workplaces, schools, and universities.
